2025 Honda Ridgeline: Latest News and Rumors

Based on the unibody platform, the Honda Ridgeline guarantees us excellent driving capabilities. Hybrid powertrains promise us best-in-class fuel efficiency with powerful and reliable performance. The 2025 Honda Ridgeline will bring us interior and exterior changes. We expect to see some changes under the hood, including new powertrain options, including an improved hybrid powertrain.

The previous generation of Ridgeline brought us a pickup truck with great driving capabilities. Roomy interior with plenty of tech features. But it lacks working capabilities, including both towing and payload maximum rates. And it lacks an off-road version. The 2025 model can change that, and we can get improved working and offroad capabilities. Including a new TrailSport offroad-focused trim.

The upcoming Ridgeline should also bring improvements to the cabin of this truck, and it will offer interesting changes like new safety and tech features. Including a new entertainment system and a more luxurious interior on higher-end trims.

2025 Honda Ridgeline Design

The forthcoming 2025 Honda Ridgeline is anticipated to maintain the design essence of its predecessor, according to insights gathered from online spy photos. While the overall aesthetic remains familiar, subtle modifications are anticipated in both the interior and exterior aspects. Notably, the exterior will undergo a contemporary facelift, introducing a fresh front grille design, updated headlights, and the addition of a new exterior color on higher-end trims. Furthermore, a novel rim design is expected to enhance the vehicle’s visual appeal.

Despite these exterior enhancements, the Ridgeline is poised to uphold its spacious interior configuration, accommodating up to five occupants comfortably. The rear end will feature a 5.3-foot bed, complemented by a power liftgate on top-tier trims. Emphasizing a commitment to luxury, the higher-end trims are projected to showcase premium materials, enhancing both comfort and aesthetics for a more refined driving experience.

2025 Honda Ridgeline TrailSpot

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline will have an improved Trailsport trim. This offroad trim will get plenty of upgrades, and it will become more offroad capable. Also, it will offer a well-equipped interior with modern, high-tech features.

The changes from a regular model will include skid plates. A unique grille will make this truck more rugged. Underbody protection and offroad suspension will also be part of the standard equipment on this model. And new 18-inch rims that will be wrapped in all-terrain tires.
Inside the cabin, we will find an improved and bigger info-intertainment screen. And the driver gauge will also get a new look. Also, it will feature new, improved car software.

This model will be equipped with premium leather seats that will offer good support for a longer and bumpier ride.

The interesting improvement for this year will include an upgraded truck safety system. On this trim, it will include a 360° camera, sign reorganization, and departure warning. We will see some standard features like a navigation system, auto braking, a rearview camera, and much more.

2025 Honda Ridgeline Hybrid

The Hybrid Ridgeline will be equipped with a 2.0-liter inline-4 powertrain. This powertrain will be paired with a small electric motor, and together they should produce around 280 horsepower with 350 pounds of torque. This model will be all-wheel drive, and we will find a new transmission under the body of this truck.
The standard version that will come with a 3.5-liter V6 maximum towing rate will weigh around 5000 pounds, and we expect 3500 pounds for a hybrid model. Both will have up to 1500 pounds for the towing rate.

The hybrid model will come with an improved suspension that will offer more comfort for longer rides and better driving capabilities.
But the biggest improvement will be fuel economy, and we expect 20% better fuel economy in the city.

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline Hybrid will support just electric drive up to 35 miles, and we expect to see some unique features that will be reserved for this model.

Price and Release Date

The official release date for the upcoming 2025 Honda Ridgeline is not yet officially known. However, according to our sources, we expect it to start in 2025.
With a starting price of around $42.000 that will go up to $48.000 for the top tier, this mid-size truck will position itself in the middle of the pricing category between its rivals.

The biggest competitor will be the Chevrolet Colorado, which will offer a better starting price but will lack comfort and driving capabilities.
Also in this price category, we will see the Jeep Gladiator, which will bring more offroad features but at the cost of a less fuel-efficient truck.

The Ford Maverick will offer similar driving capabilities, but it will not bring space or a comfortable interior like the Ridgeline.

In this crowded midsize truck category, Honda will have plenty to offer, and we hope that the new Ridgeline will bring good sales numbers.
