2025 Nissan Murano: What do we expect from a new generation?

The latest spy photos suggest that Nissan is preparing a new generation of Murano for the American market. It will feature a totally new exterior design, and we expect a huge interior overhaul. The 2025 Nissan Murano will be a 2-row, 5-seater mid-size SUV that will offer a lot of comfort and space for its class. Also, it will be equipped with the latest technology and safety features that Nissan has to offer.

The original Nissan Murano was introduced back in 2002. From the start, it gained popularity as a reliable and powerful SUV. But the main selling point of this crossover was its luxury interior and spacious cabin.

2025 Nissan Murano Specifications

The engine that will be inside the Murano Hybrid model will be the 2.5-liter inline-4 engine that will be paired with an electric motor. Together, they will produce up to 300 horsepower with an impressive 350 pounds of torque. The Hybrid Murano will be just an all-wheel drive, and it will feature a unique CVT transmission that will be specially designed for this new powertrain.

Some of the interesting upgrades for this model will include specially designed 20-inch rims and unique premium color options. Also, we expect some software modifications inside the SUV.

Price and Release Date

The starting price for a base model of a new generation of Murano should start at $38.000 and go up to $49.000 for top-tier trim with a hybrid powertrain. Our pick will be the mid-trim called SL. This trim should start at around $43,000, and it will offer a premium interior with a top-of-the-line infotainment system and a hybrid powertrain as an engine option.
The release date is not yet officially known, but rumors suggest that Nissan will introduce the 2025 Nissan Murano at the end of 2024.
