All-New 2025 Chevy Trax – Get Ready to Be Blown Away!

Chevrolet Trax made its debut in 2013, offering a blend of affordability and capability in the SUV market. Over the years, it has garnered attention for its efficient engines and spacious interior, while its modern, futuristic exterior design has turned heads. Looking ahead to the 2025 Chevy Trax, we can expect some intriguing changes, primarily focused on styling updates and introducing new modern technology features.

The 2025 model will retain the adaptable characteristics of its predecessor, maintaining its reputation for versatility. It will also share many features with its larger sibling, the Blaze, potentially leveraging the same platform for enhanced performance and capabilities.

Priced at around $22,000, the 2025 Trax will face stiff competition from other car manufacturers within its segment. However, with its established reputation and anticipated updates, it aims to maintain its position as a compelling choice in the SUV market.

2025 Chevy Trax Specifications

For this model, a single powertrain option will be available: a 1.2-liter engine generating up to 145 horsepower. This represents a modest increase in power compared to the 2024 model, which boasted 136 horsepower. Power will be directed solely to the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic gearbox, enhancing Trax’s responsiveness and acceleration.

With this configuration, the Trax is expected to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under 8 seconds, with a maximum speed reaching 125 mph despite retaining the same platform as its predecessor, the 2025 model is anticipated to maintain its commendable driving capabilities. The potential upgrade to a 7-speed automatic gearbox could further enhance performance.

Additionally, rumors suggest that Chevy may introduce a hybrid powertrain option for the Trax. This hybrid engine, likely reserved for higher-end trims, could deliver around 173 horsepower and be paired with an upgraded transmission for improved efficiency and performance.

2025 Chevy Trax Design

As we already mentioned the upcoming 2025 Chevy Trax will receive a mid-cycle interior and exterior refresh. Starting from the front facia it will receive a new grille design and new slightly more futuristic headlights. Also, the daily LED lights should get a new shape that will follow the design language of the new Chevy Trax.

The interior changes will include two new premium color options and a new 18-inch rim design that will be reserved for top-tier trims. The rear part of the upcoming model will have nearly the same design as the previous version. But we expect to see some small changes including the rear bumper and taillights.

The interior of this model will stay one of the most equipped in this class. Especially on higger end trims that will get a new 11 inches touchscreen and new premium leather seats.
The interior will feature a modern design and we hope that Chevy will step up the game and introduce more quality materials in the cockpit.

2025 Chevy Trax Activ

The Activ trim will additionally emphasize Trax’s sporty nature. With its blacked exterior details like rims, grille, and mirrors and with Activ badging on the sides of the SUV it will make this model unique.
The difference from regular trims will not stop here. The Activ model will bring 18-inch rims that are reserved for this model. Unique exterior color choices will be Cayenne Orange Metalic and Nitro Yellow Metalic. The Interior of this model will be also solidly equipped. Starting from a seat that will have heating and venting options. 11-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. Premium sound system and wireless charging pad.

The upcoming model will come equipped with contemporary safety features, including

  • Blind Spot Monitoring
  • Traffic Alert
  • Rear View Camera
  • Emergency Braking and Pedestrian Detection
  • Lane Departure Warning, and Lane-Keeping Assistance

Additionally, it will offer several tech enhancements aimed at enhancing the driver’s experience, such as:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Premium Navigation System
  • Electric Tailgate
  • Automatic High Beam
  • Keyless Entry

These features are designed to not only prioritize safety but also to simplify and improve the driving experience for users.

Price And Release Date

Chevy plans to maintain pricing levels similar to those of the previous model, with base trims starting at $21,500 and the top-tier model reaching up to $29,000.

Although an official release date has not been confirmed, industry expectations point to the new Trax hitting dealerships toward the end of 2024. With its competitive pricing strategy and the value it delivers at that price point, the 2025 Chevy Trax is poised for success in the market.

This model will face competition from the Mazda CX-30, KIA Niro, Subaru Crosstrek, and Volkswagen Taos. However, the success of the previous generation of Trax demonstrates that Chevy has a strong contender in this SUV segment. It boasts excellent driving dynamics, ample cabin space, and a modern exterior design that appeals to customers.
