2025 RAM, 2500 Interior and Exterior
The upcoming 2025 Ram 2500 will get a small exterior and interior refresh. Also, it will get updated technology and safety features as well. The most noticeable changes will be the new front fascia, which will have a new, more aggressive grille and new headlight design. Also, tail lights will get a new look. Exterior changes will not stop here. Also, we will get a new rim design and new premium color options. However, all these changes will not change the overall design language of the 2025 RAM 2500. 2025 RAM, 2500 Specifications
The 2025 RAM 2500 will come with turbodiesel and gasoline engines. The diesel powertrain will be a 6.7-liter turbocharged mill that will produce 385 horsepower and an impressive 870 pounds of torque. This engine will be a real workhorse, and the towing rates for it will be around 2100 pounds. We expect to see 3300 pounds of maximum payload. This will be a small improvement compared to the previous model, thanks to a more potent engine.
The diesel engine will be a well-known 6.4-liter HEMI V8. This mill will produce up to 430 horsepower with 450 pound-feet of torque. Max towing rates for this configuration will be around 17.000 pounds, and we expect the same carrying capacity as a diesel model.
The biggest change for the 2025 model will definitely be a new 10-speed automatic gearbox. This new gearbox will improve gas mileage and overall riding quality. Also, we expect to see new options with this engine, like crawl walks and much more.
The rumored gas consumption numbers are 12 MPG in the city and 19 for the highway for the HEMI configurations. And for diesel, 16 MPG in the city and 19 on the highway.
Both engines will have around 18 MPG of combined drive.
2025 RAM, 2500 Limited
2025 RAM 2500 will come in 8 trims. One of which will be limited. It will be the most expensive, top-tier model of the RAM 2500. This model will come with plenty of technology and safety features. Also in the interior, we will find the best materials used for the RAM 2500. It will be a mix of alloy, leather, and premium wood. The base-tech equipment of this model will include satellite navigation, premium sound, and a 13.3-inch touchscreen. And an 8.7-inch digital driver cluster that can be configured to drivers’ needs. Automatic braking system. Collision warning.
This model will come with an all-wheel drive with air suspension. It will come in two cab variants: one will be a Crew Cab, and the other will be a Max Cab. Also, it will come in two-bed lengths.
Price and Release Date
RAM didn’t announce the official release date of the new 2025 RAM 2500. But we expect to see a release date close to the end of 2024. The starting price for a base model will be around $45,000. This will be for a base-equipped Tradesman model.
The premium trims, like the Premium model, will go up to $80.000.
The well-equipped trims that will allow maximum towing capacity will start at around $60.000.
This will be the Laramie model with the maximum towing package selected.
The primary competitors of the 2025 RAM 2500 will be the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD and the GMC Sierra 2500 HD. Additionally, Ford is gearing up to introduce the next generation of its Super Duty F-250.
